Testosterone enanthate is a steroid used regularly by starters in the field of steroid because it is described as quick element and produces great results. However, there is a big knowledge gap on the side effects that align this steroid type. It should always be clear that, any drug use has some element of addiction and also holds some level of side effects even when used in the proper manner.
The testosterone steroid causes testicular atrophy. This is accompanied by the reduced spermatogenesis. It also leads to increased aggressiveness in the character of the people abusing this steroid. However, people should learn how to cope with this possible form of aggression and instead transfer it to their work outs in training rather than to fellow people. Unfortunately, to some people they do not control the various forms of aggression. Testosterone enanthate intake therefore leads to some anti-social behavior experienced in them. There is a sort of “superman syndrome”, which happens to be a common characteristic in these athletes.
Though the Testosterone enanthate happens to be broken down in the liver, the same compound can be slightly toxic when it is taken in unreasonable doses. This is harmful due to the respective changes in the liver that inhibits body metabolism. Further to this is the potential side effect that leads to deep voice development and increase hair loss. For women, there should be a great cause of worry in any intake because it can lead to unpleasant androgen-linked risks and side effects. Among these include, the virilization symptoms, voice changes, clitoral hypertrophy and occasional increase in libido. Some of these changes are termed as irreversible and therefore there is need to take precautions before the worst happens. A standard intake of the testosterone enanthate in women, should limit between 250-30 mg in maximum quantity. This should be taken each 7-10 days to avoid any kind of an overdose. However, due to competition in bodybuilding, there has been an increase in the dosage in women especially those specializing of power lifts and shorter injection intervals being another of the steroid abuse.
For men there are also other disadvantages of Testosterone enanthate intake. The steroid is taken as a form of birth control among men. Following this, a Research was conducted in 12 months time with the study including 270 men. This study provided a green light that weekly injections of testosterone hormone were safe and stable but also had a success rate of 99.2% being a birth control method. This was shocking bearing in mind that the birth control pill had 97% assurance and condoms giving an 88% assurance.
Finally the study revealed that these steroids are dangerous in the long term since their effects were irreversible and any discontinuation of the administration would require further treatment to cover the respective side effects. The study therefore advised on proper intake and control of the testosterone enanthate in order to avoid the side effects which at times risk the health of an individual.
