Laurabolin, or Nandrolone Laurate, is a 19-nor-testosterone based drug, and one with a reputation for good gains and not-so-good side effects. Let’s dive into some of the specifics associated with this drug!
The Original Intention
Laurabolin was originally designed as a steroid to help farm animals grow. Whether or not it was as popular with sheep and horses as it is with bodybuilders is left to be debated. What is known is that very shortly after being discovered by medical researchers, the drug enjoyed a nice upgrade from barnyard to gym locker room, where it has remained a mainstay ever since.
The Good
Laurabolin will put some muscle on your frame. The drug delivers a very strong anabolic action. Protein synthesis skyrockets, meaning you can suddenly make use of 400 to 500 grams of daily protein. Red blood cell count increases greatly, as do levels of phosphorous and calcium. Aside from the scientific wonders, you’ll see a serious gain in muscle. Within a few weeks of beginning Laurabolin, you’ll see your numbers start to creep up on the movements in the gym, and you’ll add some size each week as well. By the eighth week, the positive side effects will be very evident, in that you’ll be much bigger from a combination of water retention and new muscle.
The Bad
Elevated estrogen levels often occur when your Laurabolin cycle ramps down. Additionally, your HPTA production and natural testosterone function may be impaired. PCT will help with this.
The Test
You gotta run testosterone with your Laurabolin. It’s that simple. Laurabolin is great for building muscle, but due to the effects it has upon your hormones and sex drive, a T stack is essential. You’ll enjoy much greater muscle building benefits from the stack, and you’ll be about as aggressive as you’ve ever been in your life.
The Cycle
Run Laurabolin for 8 to 16 weeks, depending upon your goals and the other compounds you are running with it. Many bodybuilders will start their cycle with 3 to 4 weeks of Anavar and Winstrol or Anadrol, and then bump up the Laurabolin, as it’s an injectable and will take longer to ‘kick in’. As a male, a cycle of 400 mg per week (along with 400 to 600 mg of testosterone) should be more than enough to lead to gains. You can move up as high as 600 mg of Laurabolin along with 1000 mg of Testosterone, but this cycle is preferred for advanced bodybuilders who have run several cycles. Women should keep their Laurabolin use in the 50 to 100 mg weekly range.
The Cost
You will pay between $4 and $5 per ML. The cost is relatively low, as is the risk of counterfeits.
The Bottom Line
If you’re an intermediate bodybuilder looking for a boost in your training, Laurabolin is probably a good choice for you. Stack it with testosterone and keep an eye on your blood panel scores. Be sure to run post-cycle therapy (PCT) immediately after your cycle, followed by a nice break of 2-4 months before your next cycle begins.
