There’s a new testosterone administration technique in town, and this one might become quite popular!

We all know that the most effective way to add testosterone to your body is through an injection. Commonly administrated with a shot to the glutes, shoulders, or other region, this testosterone was suspended in oil, drawn into a syringe, and plunged deep into the muscle group. The testosterone was then absorbed into the bloodstream and used by the body.

Another way to add testosterone to the body is through the use of a patch. Its effectiveness is argued, and it’s mainly used for low dose hormone replacement therapy. Elite bodybuilders wouldn’t be aided much by the small doses a patch delivers.

Oral testosterone has never been considered effective for boosting testosterone levels. The liver is very efficient at inactivating testosterone quickly when it is taken orally. Other anabolic steroids taken orally, such as Dianabol, lacked the strength and performance ability of testosterone, and have always been considered “default” choices should testosterone not be available (or useful agents to be stacked with the common testosterone base). Athletes didn’t have a way to orally ingest testosterone effectively. Until now.

Andriol Testocaps, or testosterone Undeconoate, is an oral steroid, which contains testosterone. It is designed to be absorbed by the lymphatic system receptors in the intestine, which helps the agent to avoid the liver entirely. Since there isn’t the breakdown that occurs with other oral steroids in the liver, the body receives a steady dose of testosterone for 4-6 hours. Additionally, there is minimal conversion to estrogen thanks to its short life in the body. This means that side effects such as Gynecomastia and excessive bloating don’t appear as much as with testosterone or other oral anabolic steroids.

Will Andriol be the “end-all” solution for testosterone administration to the body? Probably not. As with all drugs, it will present some solutions to existing problems, but will still have its own set of bugs to be worked out. It will be a good short-term solution for many bodybuilders who dislike needles or cannot inject for any other reason. And it will keep bodybuilders happy until the next oral testosterone compound (whose designers have probably reverse engineered Andriol to a tee!) which will now be on the market in 12-18 months. If oral testosterone is something you desire, give Andriol a try. Also, keep your eyes open for the next generation of oral testosterone administration agents, sure to be arriving in the near future!
