Natural bodybuilding competitions are often anything but. The men onstage at some of the top “tested” shows carry a level of muscle mass and conditioning seen on Mr. Olympia candidates of the 1960s. Very often, “natural” is nothing more than a euphemism for a bodybuilder with poor genetics who doesn’t have access to growth hormone (the two factors which enable an athlete o excel at the upper ranks of untested amateur competition). As a result of this fact, this article will toss out all moral obligations to actually remain clean to compete in a natural contest. Yes, not every athlete onstage is using steroids. But many of them are.
Many organizations will not test their athletes for drug use. The flyers and signs for the event will proudly proclaim “NATURAL EVENT!” but the reality is that the promoter will be well aware of the fact that freaks sell tickets, and you aren’t going to find many lifetime naturals with freaky size or conditioning. In fact, most promoters are lifetime bodybuilders or fans of the sport that are well aware of the amount of drug use associated with the sport. They know their competitors are using, and they look the other way if they want an impressive line-up on their stage. Urine samples are often flushed, as testing costs are usually much higher than entry fees.
If you are competing in an advanced show, you will be tested, and the results of your urine sample will determine whether your prize check arrives or not. Plan your substance use accordingly. Injectable testosterone suspension, which allows the testosterone to sit in water instead of in an oil-based formula, is completely clear of the system in three days or less. This is the fastest and safest option. You may not enjoy the daily shots, but injecting your last dose on a Thursday morning before a Saturday evening show is very good timing. For fat loss, clenbuterol is cleared form the body in 4 to 5 days, which means you can run it all the way through the last week before the show and be fine. if you’re seeking oral options, Winstrol (Stanozolol) is cleared form the system in about three weeks, which means it’s your best bet to stack with testosterone propionate (cleared in 2 weeks) and testosterone undecanoate (out of the body in one week). Anavar, for you lightweights and ladies, is gone from the system in three weeks.
The use of masking agents is always recommended – unless they are on the restricted items list as well. They will remove traces of all drugs except Nandrolone from the body within 5 to 7 days of use. Since Nandrolone is detectable for up to 18 months after use, a chemically-assisted bodybuilder competing in a tested event would have to avoid it anyway.
It’s never advisable to cheat the system and compete in tested federations when you aren’t a natural. These same tenets apply to testing for any employment agency. If your firm tests randomly, a testosterone suspension use 48 hours before a test may show up clear, which may save your job.
