Street Name: Sustanon, Durateston, Sust, Sustenon
Clinical Use:
One of Europe’s most popular steroids for both athletic and therapeutic use, Sustanon is a blend of 4 testosterones that act extremely favorably together in combination. Fast-acting and enduring, this drug has been used on everything from restoring sexual function in aging men to combating wasting in AIDS patients, to building quality mass in both strength and aesthetic athletes.
Bodybuilding Use:
The athletic application here is vast. Sustanon is one of the most incredibly resilient, powerful and potent steroids out there. There’s nothing like testosterone for building overall mass and density of mass. It’s highly anabolic with well-defined androgenic activity attached. Look for exceptional gains in strength and muscle size with great retention rate.
Recommended Dose:
250 to 400mg per week, or 750mg every 10 days is just about all anyone would need. I could play psychological games and tell you a lower amount so that this is just about all you’d take, but why? You’re adults and should know better. Besides, this is the top of the scale, (as are most of my recommendations for dose) so using more than this isn’t really prudent anyway. You’re just asking for estrogenic complications otherwise.
Side Effects:
Sustanon is a drug that allows people to use less and get the best results. So, keeping your dose in the above range is probably smart. Besides which, if you do keep in the range of 250-350mg per week, you’ll find that you’ll actually have less water retention, less aromatization and less liver stress overall. The usual ones are oily skin, acne, facial hair growth, and balding. You will find that you’re likely to become more aggressive on Sustanon, which is okay as long as it is put to use in your training sessions and not put to use bullying your mate at home! Irritability is a big problem for people who are already somewhat explosive, so watch that. You must also use an anti-estrogen like Nolvadex (20mg per day) or Proviron. And since Sustanon remains active in the body for a few weeks after you stop taking it, don’t stop taking your anti-estrogens. This is where people commonly mess up and get bitch tits.
Price and Availability:
A single shot can go for $25-28 on the black market here in the U.S. The Mexican redi-ject (pre-loaded syringe) goes for around $8-$10, but like I said, I don’t think these are very clean or safe. Clean the syringe and the area you’re going to inject if that’s the way you need to go because of price. Durateston from Brazil (Sustanon under a different name) is a great product and you often see it in the U.S. It goes for about $15-$20 per amp.
OTC:
Some pro-hormones, when taken together in a stack, for a 12 week cycle could mimic a short cycle of Sustenon. In larger doses, pro-hormones can be pretty effective like that. Some people say they don’t compare, and of course they don’t in terms of strength mg for mg. But that doesn’t matter if you are getting results. Sometimes, a slower, less powerful car that is driven better can win the race if you know what I mean.
Fakes:
Luckily, this drug isn’t duplicated often, if at all. I’ve seen one case of it personally, and it was such a poor rendering of the product, it was laughable. That’s the one good thing about the redi-jects from Mexico: They are hard to duplicate and the needle is now packed separately and is less likely to be dirty or contaminated with rancid product. The Brazilian, and if you can find it anymore, the European versions (Portugal, Italy, U.K.) are clearly labeled with hard to reproduce labels, with stamped on (not printed) lot numbers and expiration dates.
Masking:
This is another of the long-acting drugs and shouldn’t be taken anywhere NEAR contest time. It’s strictly a mass partner, and you should take at least 9 months to clean it out of your system. Even then, if you’re a tub o’ lard when you first start taking it, add on another 6 months of detox time because your fat cells hold on to androgens for a long, long time!
Effectiveness Rating:
This is a great drug. I give it a 10 out of 10; which is saying a lot since I typically don’t like solid testosterone products. But this just seems to be music to a bodybuilder’s ears and works like a charm. You must begin taking Clomid a few weeks before your cycle ends, however, and follow up by overlapping with HCG to restart your own testosterone production, since Sustanon suppresses your body’s production and secretion of testosterone rapidly!
Final Smack On Sustanon…
The best way to use Sustanon is to use it in a weight gaining stack in the off season, along with an oral anabolic like Dianabol (my favorite) or Anavar. I suggest saving Anavar for pre-contest preparation, but if it’s the only oral anabolic you can find, use it with this for great results. This is a great drug folks, even though it’s exceedingly hard to obtain at times. I don’t suggest using the pre-loads from Mexico. I knew a guy who got hold of some super cheap, pre-load syringes and ended up with an abscess that seriously compromised his ability to walk, let alone do work. He had to have it cut and drained and it did some damage. If you can’t get the genuine article, don’t settle for cheap substitutes!
