Characteristics: On paper, MENT is every bodybuilder’s dream. Thinking of what this drug’s potential, is almost enough to make a man pass on a supermodel and go for the AAS. Okay, maybe some do that already. But the fact that MENT is nearly as strong as Check Drops - its 17-alpha-alkylated counterpart Mibolerone, sans the liver toxicity, headaches and high blood pressure - makes it an amazing drug. MENT is a 19-Nor substance which makes it a Nandrolone derivative. It’s a lot like Nandrolone but has a 7-alpha-methyl attachment. This stops it from 5-alpha-reduction. As most steroid users up on their chemistry know, the 5-alpha-reduction in Nandrolone makes what could be a very effective drug, much, much less effective.
So, a Nandrolone derivative without the 5-alpha-reduction - such as Trenbolone - (Parabolan or Finaplix) - makes it a very strong and potent androgenic compound. And the best part is, it’s got the capability of restoring sexual behavior and seminal vesicle weights as well as testosterone but at 1/3 the dose! Because of its 7-alpha-methyl group, MENT also shows no significant binding to SHBG (sex hormone binding globuline) which makes it a strong hormone compared to testosterone (3 times stronger, in fact). But here’s the catch: It’s got an acetate ester attached, which means that it needs to be injected daily, so it isn’t ideal.
Side Effects: MENT is highly capable of aromatizing, which makes it a risky prospect no matter how amazing its chemical structure would otherwise tell you. The side effects are the same for this as with Nandrolone - gyno, bloating, fat gain, hair loss, acne, prostate hypertrophy and deepending of voice and other virilization factors, such as enlarged clitoris, for women). The one thing that is not a side effect, as is the case with many nandrolone derivatives, is libido suppression.
Downside: For the same reason it’s stronger than testosterone by 3 times - its 7-alpha-methyl group - it’s half-life is shorter and must be injected daily. Hence, the acetate ester attachment. Not ideal!
Stack Suggestions: Methandrostenolone (40mg/day) Oxymetholone (100-500mg/ day) Boldenone (200-800mg/ week). Our preference is EQ (boldenone) for this drug, if you can find it. Also a good match would be Winstrol (stanozolol) at 50mg/ day…
Availability: Very scarce. No wholesalers we know currently carry it or have much access to it. That’s because it really hasn’t reached “street drug” proportions, as it is relatively unknown.
