Corticosteroids occur naturally and in a host of many variations. The first corticosteroid that was ever discovered was cortisol. This substance is produced in the adrenal glands of most mammals that walk the planet.
Corticosteroids are key in the management of various conditions that include diseases like asthma, diseases of the bowel, and autoimmune disorders. The sustained use of these substances has been linked to the onset of various side effects and these have been noted to include various conditions like the outset of pituitary axis suppression, disturbances in the electrolyte balance, and hyperglycemia. These are amongst the most adverse of symptoms that come with the prolonged use of these substances.
Corticosteroids are very helpful in their inhaled form as these are used to manage conditions like asthma and other pulmonary chronic diseases. As such, many people rely on these medications ...Posted in: Steroid Articles | | Comments (0)

For the longest time, Masteron was an anabolic steroid available only to elite athletes who could afford it. Highly effective with manageable side effects, its purity was assured and its effectiveness never in doubt. It was originally designed for use in patients with breast cancer. Many found it to be more effective in stopping tumor growth than even chemotherapy! For bodybuilders, this was advantageous because aside from its muscle-wasting abilities, which resulted in growth, it also didn’t convert to estrogen and cause undesirable side effects. The inclusion of Masteron in a cycle negates the need for Arimidex or another AI. Simply put, Masteron is a seriously effective drug. However, it has not always been widely available, so most bodybuilders never had the ability to learn about it. Thanks to the web (for ...Posted in: Steroid Articles | | Comments (0)
Many bodybuilders engage in a very dangerous practice of never cycling off. Continual use of anabolic steroids is advised against by every guru, book and website, and people who engage in this practice usually are well aware of the dangers. Q: A buddy of mine claims that 50 percent of all pros are taking Nubain pre-contest. Why do they take Nubain? I was always of the mind that it caused water retention and that it weakened training sessions and caused digestion problems. Does it have good effects on muscle appearance or on cuts?
A: I have to say that I am glad we are addressing this. In the 90s everyone thought Nubain suppressed the release of cortisol. Cortisol is not the friend of the bodybuilding, and is fat producing and muscle wasting. So, it made sense. But when people found out that that was absolutely false, and then became addicts and outright junkies, doing a lot of ugly things to get their next fix - uglier things than the worst you've heard about procuring steroids - no one had ...Posted in: Steroid Q&A | | Comments (0)
To increase muscle size and correspondingly reduce body fat one needs to ensure that all aspects of the bodybuilding lifestyle are adhered to. Essentially, a correct bodybuilding lifestyle could be best described as a complex balancing act, and to complicate matters further what works for one person may not necessarily work for another.
Diet and training are two variables most often discussed concerning muscle building and fat loss. Although diet and training are fundamentally important variables for any bodybuilding program there are many other factors at play.
Hormone release is one factor that underpins many of the physiological reactions that cause the changes in muscle density a bodybuilder desires. For example testosterone, probably the best known hormone from a bodybuilding perspective, is released following a series of hormonal processes starting in the pituitary gland (situated below the frontal lobe of the brain).
