Anabolic steroids have quite a number of effects on the blood. One of the most notable among these is the fact that the blood's clotting factors i.e. the platelets are reduced in quantity. The blood is therefore unable to clot optimally. It is without a doubt that the body is exposed to various amounts of stress and strain throughout a normal day. The use of anabolic steroids has not been credited with having any effects on the brain tissues. What has been noted though is that the use of steroids has some effects on the mind. Some symptoms that support this observation are mood swings, guilt feelings, euphoria, and violence.
As concerns the endocrine system, anabolic steroids do have an effect. The steroids imitate testosterone which is an endocrine hormone and in so doing this leads to various side effects that are well documented in many informative and accurate sources. The anabolic steroids bring about a cessation in the production of both FH and LSH by the pituitary gland.
