Q: I have been recovering from some light gyno—something I never have had to deal with before now—and I have been taking some Nolvadex. Some of the swelling beneath the nipple is going down, but it isn’t going down all the way and it’s pissing me off because I want to go on another cycle (it’s been 8 months now) but don’t feel I can until I get that gyno down more. Tell me though; I’ve heard that Nolvadex will minimize gains during a cycle. I was thinking of safeguarding myself during my next Test cycle with, like, double the dose of Tamoxifen, but will it kill my mass building results? A: You’re asking a few questions here, as I understand it, and it’s a complex issue. First off, too much of anything can upset any balance and cause the ...

DecaDeca-Durabolin is a very popular, albeit misunderstood steroid. Since the days of Arnold, bodybuilders have taken Deca either via injection, or less commonly via liquid or tablets. It is a common, cheap, and fairly available steroid. However, it’s not a “one stop shot” for muscle building success. In order to make the best possible bodybuilding gains – and avoid very unfortunate side effects – Deca use must be responsible and deliberate. Here are three of the most commonly asked questions by bodybuilders regarding the use of Deca. Will it make me look like a bodybuilder? Deca, when taken alone, will help you to look much more like a bodybuilder. You will develop extreme muscle hardness. You’ll grow stronger on all of your lifts in the gym, particularly the squatting and pressing. Often the ...

What is the most feared word in competitive bodybuilding? With all the use of steroids, insulin, growth hormone, you might think “cancer” would be the most feared term. Or, with all of the illicit sexual deviancy in the sport, maybe “HIV” would cause a few to break out in a cold sweat. There’s plenty of drug use, trade, smuggling, buying, and selling going on in the sport of bodybuilding. Maybe “seizure”, “DEA” or “search warrant” would cause a few bodybuilders to flinch. Unfortunately, if you polled your peers who use anabolic steroids, their answers may float into those areas, but there would be one term that would take the cake in terms of striking fear into the hearts of bodybuilders. Gynecomastia is the most feared word in competitive bodybuilding. Gyno can hit anyone. ...

Gynecomastia is a very serious problem facing many bodybuilders who choose to use anabolic steroids. Most steroids will cause the development of this condition. Some people respond instantly to the steroids and Gynecomastia growth starts immediately. Others can use them for months with nothing arising. Gynecomastia is typically characterized by a hardening and growth of the tissue located under the nipples. It’s referred to as “bitch tits” since a famous reference to Meat Loaf’s character “Bob” in the movie Fight Club. Many retired bodybuilders, once they shrink down to normal size, discover Gynecomastia that had been hiding underneath the muscle all along. Others see it once they diet down for a show. They are thrilled to be hitting single digit body fat percentage, but horrified at the prospect of facing the world with ...

Tamoxifen is a popular drug for breast cancer treatment in women because it essentially sows or stops the growth of breast tissue. Resourceful bodybuilders, addled for years with side effect such as Gynecomastia, soon discovered this drug can help to stop the growth of nipple tissue which results in Gyno. For this reason, Tamoxifen has taken on quite a following. However, there is a dark side to the use of Tamoxifen by healthy men and women, that isn’t discussed as much as it should be. Tamoxifen was designed to be used on cancer patients. People suffering from cancer often use drugs with some undesired side effects, because the disease they are fighting here (cancer which can lead to death) is worse than the side effects. For healthy people, however, these side effects can lead to ...

For breast development to take place it needs the ovarian hormone and the pituitary hormone to coordinate with other hormones in the body, for this to happen. The effect that estrogen hormone has making the breasts to grow is due to other estrogen units which are in a unit and they are incorporated together with steroidal hormone. The increase in breast which occurs in females and sometimes in other males naturally occurs and therefore the main reason behind it is when enzymes increase in quantity leading to an increase in the concentration of enzyme levels as well. Androgen hormones lack the capability of stimulating breast growth but as soon as they are converted into estrogen then they are able to stimulate breast growth. This is very prevalent in people who are having very high concentration of androgen and even in patients who might ...

Q: I’m 18, and I’m scheduled for gyno surgery. It’s not from steroids, it’s from “puberty gyno”. My doctor told me that I’m not going to be able to lift for awhile, so what can I do to preserve gains? How long will it take for the swelling and soreness to dissipate enough to get back into the gym? A: I’m not going to lie to you, gyno surgery is painful and the recovery really depends upon your own body. Though, for those who have never heard of “puberty gyno”, it is much different than AS gyno. In either case, the best thing you can do is NOT overextend too soon or you’ll end up with more scar tissue than you would have otherwise. I’d say that taking 3 weeks off is about right, and avoid training your ...
