Q: I'm on my 4th week of Testosterone Enanthate - 500 mg/week and I'm also taking 1.5mg Letrozole E.D. as an insurance policy to avoid gyno. I am not experiencing any puffiness or soreness in the area of the nipple, so can I stop using it until I see symptoms again? Also, will Letro hinder my gains with this cycle? I know it helps rid the body of bloat but can it also drain muscle of overall volume? A: Okay, way to sneak in a few questions there, dude! First off, Letro is a great drug, but we don't suggest that you stop it cold turkey now that you are not experiencing symptoms of gyno. Start by lowering your daily dose to maybe .75mg to 1mg and then go to EOD on those amounts. Now, if you're worried about sacrificing ...

What is the most feared word in competitive bodybuilding? With all the use of steroids, insulin, growth hormone, you might think “cancer” would be the most feared term. Or, with all of the illicit sexual deviancy in the sport, maybe “HIV” would cause a few to break out in a cold sweat. There’s plenty of drug use, trade, smuggling, buying, and selling going on in the sport of bodybuilding. Maybe “seizure”, “DEA” or “search warrant” would cause a few bodybuilders to flinch. Unfortunately, if you polled your peers who use anabolic steroids, their answers may float into those areas, but there would be one term that would take the cake in terms of striking fear into the hearts of bodybuilders. Gynecomastia is the most feared word in competitive bodybuilding. Gyno can hit anyone. ...

LetrozoleSome beginner bodybuilders, whether through necessity (lack of access to steroids) or choice are selecting Letrozole as the steroid of choice for a first cycle. This goes against conventional wisdom, which almost universally calls for the first cycle to consist of 400 to 600 mg testosterone run for 12 weeks. However, a growing number of bodybuilders are starting to notice the relative safety and non-disruptive nature of such a cycle. Standard testosterone cycles usually leave the user in quite a bind when the cycle is finally completed. After 12 to 16 weeks of steady testosterone injections twice per week, the brain of the lifter has completely stopped sending signals to the testes to produce testosterone. When the bi-weekly injections of testosterone are halted, there is naturally a total crash of the T levels in ...

AIs, or aromatase inhibitors, have come a long way in recent years. Gone are the years where large numbers of amateur bodybuilders would suffer from ridiculous gynecomastia on show day. It’s been a decade since we’ve seen a top professional bodybuilder sporting a bad case of gyno, even though in the past we’ve seen champions like Franco and Ronnie displaying it from the winner’s circle. AIs are remarkably effective for preventing gyno when used properly. Letrozole is an effective AI used by bodybuilders for fighting the effects of post-cycle hormone fluctuations. It is at this time in which testosterone levels crash (since there is no longer an artificial T source present in the body) and estrogen levels remain artificially high. Letrozole works to eliminate the problems associated with these fluctuations. Here are a few commonly asked questions regarding ...

Q:  I hear that you have to take anti-estrogens just before you step on stage in a bodybuilding show - that it's the only way to get hard and dry. What do you suggest? I hear people saying Nolvadex, but a buddy of mine says no one takes it anymore. Also, can't you just pop a Lasix and dry yourself out? A: People certainly do take Nolvadex - all the time. However, there are some other drugs that people seem to find more effective. In recent years, Arimidex came out, as well as Letrozole. It's really more a matter of what you can get and your budget. You can get Nolvadex a lot cheaper than the others, because it's been out longer. But then Nolvadex is not as good an anti-estrogen as arimidex, according to some top bodybuilders. To get truly ...
