Steroids in their wake bring many issues to the fore. All their effects seem to take myriad paths, from the sociological, political, and medical to psychological. In all the instances a lot of issues and dust are raised, as novel effects of the anabolic androgenic steroids are observed. It is what they are known, and why governments are so strict about them. One of the most studied phenomena relating to the abuse of steroids involves the psychological changes and this arises in part due to the interesting nature of the topic. This area can be a challenge when it comes to the actual clinical research. In the past, most of the researches have relied on questioning the respondents themselves.
In one such study, some steroid abusers claimed to have engaged in crimes and acts of aggression after taking high dosages of steroids ...Posted in: Steroid Articles | | Comments (0)

Have you ever noticed the anti-steroid crusade often propagated by the media and other anti-drug organizations? The “this is your brain on drugs” campaign was perhaps the most memorable anti-drug campaign of all time, but the anti-steroid hints have been more subtle and underhanded. The great Lyle Alzado, NFL player and macho man extraordinaire, blamed steroid use for his cancer. We’ve all heard a great deal about how steroids will turn you into an uncontrollable animal, turning green and throwing cars into the air at the drop of a hat. The tales of shrinking genitals also permeate steroid talk. Most people believe steroid users are angry, violent lugs.
Perhaps we would see less of these campaigns, if bodybuilders themselves didn’t often use the ‘steroid defense’ to get themselves out of legal trouble. We’ve seen many instances ...Posted in: Steroid Articles | | Comments (0)

Arnold Schwarzenegger is the most famous bodybuilder ever, also he is a huge actor, and is now a politician; so his named grouped in with bodybuilding is not a bad thing. But ‘roid rage is the term for the increased anger and aggression that comes with steroid use, so this being thought of when bodybuilding is mentioned is not a positive thing.
Most people don’t know if ‘roid rage actually exists, or whether it’s yet another sample of negative attention from the media designed to deter people from steroids. This stereotype can be damaging, but the media is not the only thing to blame. Some of the bodybuilders who have been charged with committing crimes have attempted to blame ...Posted in: Steroid Articles | | Comments (0)

It has been the fear of many men who are abusing steroids or are having ideas towards that direction that their penis will automatically shrivel in size. For any man this is not a cup of milky delight, it is a cause of worry and a negative attitude towards anabolic steroids. This is not only faulty but misinformed. In all cases, it is ones testicles which shrink in what is biologically known as atrophy. In this case, the testicles end up stopping the production of the body’s natural testosterone within the use of anabolic steroids. They shrink from disuse causing temporary sterility.
In essence, permanent sterility which comes from a prolonged abuse of steroids is yet to be determined. Generally, ones penis is never affected, but one can never avoid frequent and occasional embarrassing erections culminated as a result of an ...Posted in: Steroid Articles | | Comments (0)

When an untrained person thinks of bodybuilders, they typically think of two things: Arnold, and “roid rage”. Arnold Schwarzenegger is a world-famous bodybuilder, actor, and politician, and the association with bodybuilding is a positive thing. However, the generic term “roid rage”, or the increased anger and aggressiveness, which supposedly accompanies steroid use, is typically the second thing that comes to mind.
Is Roid Rage real? Or is it just another example of overblown negative media coverage and anti-drug fairy tales designed to scare potential steroid users? The phenomenon cannot be completely blamed on outside parties. Many bodybuilders who have been charged with crimes have tried to blame their behavior on compounds they were injecting, not decisions they made. Their lawyers and experts argue for hours that artificial hormones are the cause of their violent behavior, ...Posted in: Steroid Articles | | Comments (0)
