Q: Why would someone recommend HCG intramuscular, instead of Sub-Q? A lot of dudes seem to use it this way. I just always thought HCG and insulin were Sub-Q.
A: Believe it or not, the manufacturer recommends HCG injections intramuscular. Odd, huh? Who knew? It is a little known fact that has been bypassed by people doing just the opposite and most people injecting sub-q. While I can't argue with the manufacturer, I will say that you should use the method that works best for you. Since almost all of us have used HCG under the skin, I think it's safe to say that using it this way is fine. But, try the intramuscular to see if your dose goes up or down or it's more effective. Just remember, sticking muscles is a lot more painful. Sub-q is a great, painless ...Posted in: Steroid Q&A | | Comments (0)

Using steroids isn’t easy. You’re faced with a myriad of potential health, legal, financial, and social woes. Should you be caught illegally purchasing or even possessing steroids, you could lose your job, home, friends, and even your freedom over nothing more than a desire to improve your physical appearance and performance, and willingness to break some laws to do it. These problems are known to all, as are the potential issues with damage to the body to which steroids can lead. Once you wade past all of these potential pitfalls and actually get your hands on the steroids, you may encounter another problem you never saw coming: Injection pain.
It can be a very painful experience to plunge a wide gauge needle into your body and inject oil into your muscles. Some of the biggest guys ...Posted in: Steroid Articles | | Comments (0)

Q: I feel really bummed this week because twice I feel like my shots went into the fat and not the muscle. Will it still be absorbed enough to work and count toward my mass cycle?
A: It's going to take longer, but dude, if you've got that much adipose in the off season, you may want to go to an inch and a half needle or longer! Also, you could be going in at an angle since you are doing it yourself and are, perhaps, inexperienced. While it's probably a relief at times to find a not-so-tough spot to go into, but it's going to be less effective. Also, if you go in at an angle, as opposed to perpendicular, you're going to have far more chances for lumps, and subsequently, abscesses. Keep rotating your sites so you don't ...Posted in: Steroid Q&A | | Comments (0)

Q: During a recent triceps injection - and a quad injection a couple of weeks ago - I hit a nerve, I think. At least I assumed that because it felt like a wasp stinging me. In the quad injection, it felt like the stinger went down to the bone! I was okay with the quad one within a day or two, but my triceps is actually still numb in one of the heads of my triceps horseshoe. Is this serious?
A: Sticking various body parts is something that came into fashion back in the late 80's, went out of fashion and came back quickly. It's something most bodybuilders do routinely. But the fact is, you're all luckier than you think because mistakes in injecting can end up in some disastrous results. Everything from abscesses that cause permanent tissue damage ...Posted in: Steroid Q&A | | Comments (0)

Q: I'm curious to know how injections into the quads affect training... How sore does an injection make a limb, and does it prevent you from training?
A: There are a lot of factors that present themselves as issues with injection sites. Even shooting your glutes can result in tremendous soreness if you don't hit the spot correctly, and that can affect your training schedule. So, no matter where you inject, you can always end up with the potential of some kind of injury, soreness, or even worse, infection. But let's just say that abscess and infection do not result. Soreness is at least probable when you inject a more sinewy muscle with less fat surrounding it.
However, you can minimize the chance of this by using an inch sized needle instead of your normal 1.5 or 2 inch ...Posted in: Steroid Q&A | | Comments (0)

Q: I am planning on doing a cycle here really soon. I’ve only done about 3 in my life and of those three, I had help with all of them—even down to the size of needle I would need. I’m on my own now, and don’t have the help anymore. Can you tell me what size needle I’d need for each drug?
A: Some AS require a certain size because of their composition and because of differences in viscosity of the liquid, so there is a definite protocol there for thickness. However, one must also consider how long the needle ought to be and that’s where some people end up injuring themselves. With a needle that is too narrow in size, and a steroid that is oil-based or has crystals, all that will happen is a failure to be able ...Posted in: Steroid Q&A | | Comments (0)
Q: I am in my first week of everyday injections of Tren and Masteron (100mg each) and I am wondering if I should take Adderall everyday since it will kill my appetite, which is out of control?
A: Adderall is a drug some bodybuilder's take. I don’t recommend it, but some say that it kills the appetite. I just think that’s overkill though. I’m sure strychnine might kill the appetite too, but it’s like cutting a trimming a torn nail with a chainsaw – too much for the situation. Sure, it’s a stimulant like ephedrine, but you may notice that ephedrine was always sold over the counter and Adderall was not. Go to your doc and ask him what he thinks. Just be honest. I know that sounds odd, but tell him what you’re doing. If you have the ...Posted in: Steroid Articles | | Comments (0)
Q: I just gave myself an injection into several parts of my arm. One of those has a small bruise on it. It hurts a lot and feels sore deep into the muscle. It hurt a little extra when I was doing the injection, but I did move the needle slightly. Is it anything to worry about?
A: Chances are, it’s not something to worry about if it’s just sore and there isn’t a big pustule attached to it. I’d worry if it were blowing up, causing excessive water retention around the site, seeping pus, discoloring badly or causing horrid pain in a surrounding joint. What probably happened is you hit a vein? This is really easy to do in the limbs and one of the reasons why it’s not altogether smart to site inject on a regular basis. I’d ...Posted in: Steroid Q&A | | Comments (0)
