As males get older, the testosterone production in their bodies is greatly reduced. The majority of males don’t use steroids, and anywhere between the ages of 30 and 50 they all experience their levels of testosterone going down. But for people who have taken steroids, this natural loss of testosterone is much worse. The endocrine system in their body was far over worked while they were taking steroids at a younger age; this was due to the different amounts of steroids raising levels of both testosterone and estrogen. This might cause their pituitary gland to signal the testes to stop producing testosterone way before that of a person who has never taken steroids.
