Have you ever seen the movie “Pumping Iron”? In it, bodybuilding great Arnold Schwarzenegger enters a gym just a few months before a show. He informs the gym owner (was it Joe Gold?) that he was “Here to get muscles!” He was entering the gym in a very small and soft condition, but would emerge onstage just a few months later with his best muscle form yet. Unlike today’s bodybuilders, who swell up large in the off-season them shrink down for a show, Arnold “grew into” his stage size. Recently, Kevin Levrone was famous for doing the same thing. He was a “normal? 185 pounds in the off-season, then somehow ramped up to 255 pounds of stage-ready muscle in 16 weeks, with the added protein and other compounds necessary to compete in professional bodybuilding.

Q: I've heard a lot of people online talk about Sesamin or Sesapure (don't know which is the correct term) and had heard it was a fat that you want to ingest. Why is it any better than any other fat?
A: Sesamin is the compound and Sesapure is a product name. Sesamin is effective for fat loss and muscle retention because it comes from sesame lignans. Within sesame lignans are high levels of two chemicals (Sesamin and Episesamin) which activate and improve the metabolism of fat and sugar (called PPAR-alpha agonism - which are receptors that control fat and glucose metabolism) Research shows that these two chemicals can speed up fat loss, reduce fat gain even when eating excess calories (when bulking or being careless and gluttonous) and as a result, can mean more muscle and less fat. Mainly, ...Posted in: Steroid Q&A | | Comments (0)
Q: I can’t remember where I read or heard this, but I was under the impression that some fat burners (Hydroxycut was specifically mentioned) are made differently here in Canada. I’ve heard that the Canadian version of Hydroxycut doesn’t really work, or at least doesn’t work as well as the US version of it. Is this true?
A: It is true that the Canadian version of Hydroxycut and other popular brands of fat burners have different formulas than their U.S. counterparts. The reason why is because ephedrine, the main ingredient in most of the popular fat burners in the U.S., is strictly regulated in Canada. Right now, ephedrine is getting a bad rap here in the States too, forcing companies to turn away from using it in their products. Most of the top companies, including ...Posted in: Steroid Q&A | | Comments (0)
Q: Guys, I am so confused over pro-hormones and pro-steroids and what the correct term is and what is legal and what isn't, that my head is spinning. Can you help me understand this mess? I want a great legal steroid alternative and I just don't know what's BS anymore! It's like the whole supplement world got confusing overnight.
A: We know what you mean dude! Too true. But help is here. Despite the ban on these highly anabolic substances, there is a supplement that really is the only TRUE prohormone out there still available. It's Methyl 1-D. There are a lot of bogus terms and products out there right now that really muck up the industry and make you feel as though you don't know if you're getting the real deal or not. But this one is ...Posted in: Steroid Q&A | | Comments (0)

A common misconception among many bodybuilders is that it takes a few weeks for steroids to start “working”. Young trainers will inject, hit the gym for a week, and see no new results. They will erroneously deduce their gear is bunk (counterfeit and worthless) and they may end up throwing away $250 of very authentic product. It’s a common mistake made by many over-analytical bodybuilders who are used to seeing immediate results with everything they do. Passing judgment on the effectiveness of steroids after only a week or two isn’t a good idea.
The truth is that the “feeling” that users see when the drugs begin working 2 to 3 weeks into a standard dosing cycle is the accumulation of steroids in their body to a point where the effects are obvious and noticeable. Steroids begin working ...Posted in: Steroid Articles | | Comments (0)

In bodybuilding circles, the debate over just how much protein athletes need each day has raged since people first picked up weights. We know protein is essential for building new muscle, and that there is an absolute baseline for athletes. Most people put it at .75 to 1.0 grams per pound of bodyweight. That would mean a 200 pound person would need 150 to 200 grams of protein per day.
Most strength coaches, bodybuilders, and personal trainers would vehemently dispute this number. Most competitive bodybuilders (high intermediate to advanced) consume at least 1.5 to 2.0 grams of protein daily per pound of bodyweight. This would put the daily requirement for a 200 pound bodybuilder at 300 to 400 grams per day. This is the most common number for strength athletes.
It should be noted that these numbers ...Posted in: Steroid Articles | | Comments (0)
