The off-season has arrived, and you are ready to add some muscle to your frame. You placed fairly well at your last show due to your great conditioning, but you just didn’t have enough muscle on your frame to hold your own against the top three. That is about to change. You are sitting at between 180 and 200 pounds, and you’re ready to run your second cycle, consisting of testosterone and Deca, stacked. We’ll consider this the second cycle, because your first cycle should always consist of testosterone, and testosterone alone. But when the second cycle arrives, it may be time to add something more to the mix, and Deca-Durabolin is a good choice for this.
Pre-cycle, you are going to want to purchase the full cycles’ worth of testosterone, Deca, and either Clomid or HCG for what will inevitable be a very necessary post-cycle run to help your natural hormone levels rebound. Don’t purchase “some” of the compounds you need, then hope you can get your hands upon the PCT compounds later. If and when the need arises during your cycle, you will need to include them immediately. Spending 2 weeks waiting at your PO Box as your gyno hardens is not in your best interest.
During the cycle, you will want to keep a continual eye upon your positive effects to ensure you are using enough AAS, as well as the negative effects, to make the determination when it is time to add your HCG or Clomid to the mix. Ideally, you will want to start the cycle heavy, in the neighborhood of 600 mg testosterone weekly plus 400 mg Deca per day, followed by a ramp down to 400 mg testosterone per day, coupled with 250 mg Deca daily. Your dosages will vary, based upon available compounds and your own body weight. While on the cycle, you can expect to add 10 to 18 pounds to your frame, most of it being muscle and water. You should become leaner during the cycle. You will become stronger. You’ll see significantly faster gains than you initially saw with testosterone used alone. However, since you are running more anabolics into your system, the side effects are going to be greater as well. There is a greater chance you’ll break out, suffer from water retention, and develop a highly aggressive attitude which can be translated into ‘roid rage’ by those around you.
Post-cycle, you should run your PCT and return to your normal testosterone output in under a month. If you have spent a month off the AAS, and still have not noticed a return of your natural testosterone levels (characterized by sexual desire and energy levels in and out of the gym), then you will want to immediately consult with a doctor. He may prescribe you Clomid. If you’re already using Clomid as recommended, he may find alternative means for you. Or, you just might be fortunate enough to obtain a legit prescription for testosterone, if he sees fit!
