The Origin of Dianabol Steroids

Dianabol The Origin of Dianabol SteroidsThe study of testosterone that began in the mid 1800′s eventually led scientists to create a way to effectively synthesize it, making it the first anabolic steroid. Dianabol steroids were developed by Dr. John Ziegler in 1956 and are the second anabolic steroids ever to be produced. Dianabol steroids are by far one of the most commonly used steroids in circulation today, and are simply a variation of testosterone. Dr. Ziegler worked closely with pharmaceutical companies towards perfecting the substance and increasing its efficiency. They are frequently used by professional athletes and bodybuilders because they boost the body’s ability to build muscle and also to prevent muscle breakdown.

In 1967 the IOC (International Olympic Council) banned the use of steroids. This began a war between athletes and sports organizations that is still going on today. Dianabol steroids were originally marketed as “D-Bol” The extreme popularity of D-Bol among athletes is what eventually lead to its being discontinued. The FDA determined that its therapeutic uses were minimal, and when they compared this to the amount of bodybuilders using it, they proceeded to pull it from the market. This obviously did not stop Dianabol steroids from being circulated. They were extremely popular in Russia and Russian D-Bol is marketed to this day.

Dianabol steroids are very popular with athletes who compete in endurance sports. Of course, just because an athlete may choose to use them, doesn’t change the fact they are illegal in most countries and the professional medical community states they should never be used for such purposes at all.

The reason Dianabol steroids in particular are favored by athletes is due to the way they are able to promote drastic protein synthesis in the human body. The build-up of strength and muscle mass is noticed almost immediately after the cycle of injections or oral doses are begun.

Despite the fact that Dianabol steroids are fast acting, it is worth mentioning that the effects are very hard to maintain. This creates a temptation for athletes and bodybuilders to continually increase the dose. There are obvious dangers with this theory and some are quite severe. Dianabol steroids have very strong toxic effects and for this reason long term use is extremely dangerous, whether taken orally or by route of injection.

Mild side effects would include acne and mail pattern hair loss. More serious side effects include heart problems, aggressive behavior, and liver failure, to name a few. These types of side effects are more frequently seen when the steroids are taken at high doses or for extended periods of time.

The ongoing controversy continues about the use of steroids overall, but in reality, the use of these substances will probably not diminish as time goes on. The popularity of Dianabol steroids continues to grow, and they remain a much sought after choice in the world of steroids, despite the possible risks and dangers to ones health and well-being.
