Part of the advantages of being familiar with matters of muscle anatomy is the fact that you will be able to develop certain muscles through optimized training. There are various steroids that are available in the market that will help you in the quest to develop your body into a huger and more muscular frame in a reduced time period. Sure, the effects of steroids are quite rapid but you should not be blinded by the fast rate of development of your muscular mass and strength levels.
The use of steroids comes with a heavy price to pay. Steroids have been known to cause a myriad of problems that have been felt to varying extents in various persons depending on the type of steroid cocktail that was being used. Some of the more commonplace effects that have been attributed to steroid use have included:
- The reduction of the sperm count levels in the testicles. This has meant that the ability of certain male users to sire children has been greatly undermined.
- Some male steroid users have been bound to a life of infertility after continued exposure to steroids.
- A prolonged use of steroids has been known to cause certain physiological effects. One of the most prevalent of these has been termed as ‘roid-rage’. This is manifested as a development of an aggressive personality. The person is almost always angry and enraged and is there predisposed to committing irrational acts.
- The steroid user is at risk of suffering complications and diseases that are related to the collapse in function of the body’s major organs such as the heart, the liver and the kidneys. Such complications are almost irreversible and can only be managed by adhering to complex treatment regimes that cost a ton.
The decision to use steroids is more or less a personal one. No one is forced to start using pills or a steroid injectable.
It is all a matter of choice. One should know the probable consequences of steroid use before plunging head-first into a potentially fatal trap. Sure, the desire to grow big and strong is often irresistible but the decision to go down steroid avenue should be put into a rational context. Ask yourself what cost you are willing to pay for a brief stage of your life that will be soon overtaken by time.
Females on the other hand are not spared the effects of steroid use. The side effects that afflict them may in some circumstances be more serious given that they do not produce testosterone naturally in their bodies. Some of the side effects that are known to them include the development of facial hair, a reduction in the size of their breasts and even enlargement in the size of the clitoris.
Generally speaking, it is more rational to stay off steroids and use natural means to develop your body. A good training regimen and proper nutrition habits should do the trick. They are in fact more effective into the long term and are certainly more cost-effective than using steroids.
