Q: I´m 26 years old 6 foot 2 inches 220 pounds and been training for 2 years, and want to start to take Deca but would it affect my kid if I decided to have another one. Please help, I can’t wait to get bigger, but this concern is holding me back.
A: All steroids can affect (lower) sperm count during and temporarily after use. In some instances this trait has even led these compounds to be investigated as male birth control options. At least for this end they can work somewhat reliably, although admittedly some pregnancies have resulted when the male has had an almost immeasurably small level of sperm produced. Although uncommon, it only takes one sperm, so it can still happen, but the odds are reduced. But anyway, no birth defects are known to be the product of a man impregnating a woman while on steroids. They only lower your chance of conceiving.
