If you’re going to be a competitive bodybuilder at the higher or even highest levels, you are eventually going to venture into the steroid arena, if you have not already. There are good and bad aspect of using AAS, but they are an accepted reality of competitive bodybuilding. You can greatly minimize the long-term impact and negative side effects you will face from steroid use through proper compound research and intelligent PCT (post-cycle therapy) planning. The final, and equally important step, is to learn more about making your injections more efficient and utilizing as much of the oil as humanly possible. Consider these suggestions just a start in your path to learning more about syringe use.
The B12 secret
Okay, it’s not really a secret, but it is an under-used technique that can allow bodybuilders to utilize every last drop of their anabolic oil while enjoying an added boost of energy is to pad their injection with vitamin B12. Begin by drawing the B12 into your syringe, and then draw up the remainder with your testosterone oil. This will make measurement of the Test easier as well. Remember that your testosterone (unless it is test suspension) will be oil based, and that B12 is water based. Oil and water don’t mix, so the heavier B12 may be pulled toward the injection first. No worries there, since the testosterone will be closer to the needle opening and the first compound to enter the body. You will need to make this injection much more slowly than usual, in the same way you would move slower on any water-based shot. It may be more painful, but you will get every drop of your AAS into your body as a result.
Proper measurement the first time
Many bodybuilders will either intentionally or accidentally front-load their cycles in an attempt to raise their blood testosterone levels initially and make the anabolic effects begin arriving sooner. This may involve drawing more than the prescribed amount of ml into the syringe. If you are on a limited budget or only have a small amount of oil to begin with, this may disrupt the cycle later and cause you to lose several weeks’ worth of growth. Limit your early injections to the flat amount you’ll be using each time if supplies are limited.
Good to the last drop
There is a small gap in the syringe between the 0 ml line, and the very tip of the needle where the liquid is drawn from. Most bodybuilders consider this to be a negligible amount, and ignore it. Over time, however, this amount can add up. It will alter the total amount you are injecting, disrupting your records, and it will cause you to run out of oil before you estimate you will. Always plan ahead, taking this amount into consideration. Either purchase an additional vial of gear, or deduce this volume from your total injection estimation. And as always, continue reading and researching this topic to pick up as many shortcuts and useful tips as possible.
