Q: As a woman, I have a question: Why take androgens when they have so many negative side effects - acne, aggression, hair loss? Why not just take D-bol, Winstrol-V, Primobolan, and Anavar?
A: Well you may be confused as to which side effects belong to which drug - and many guys are. I’ll catch people calling a drug an anabolic one day, and an androgen another day, to suit whatever cycle they are doing and the availability of hard-to-get steroids. Fact is, the body also processes certain drugs differently than others. In my experience with women and androgens/ anabolics, bodies can be night and day within the same sex. It’s just all more noticeable with women since Testosterone and androgens are minimally produced within their bodies. I know women who do amazingly on androgens (a no-no for women by many standards), and don’t get masculinizing effects from them. Whereas, I know others who get deep voices, hair growth, and acne overnight. First off, all drugs are androgens in the AAS category, despite some having more “anabolic behavior.” This could get very long, but in short, pure androgens, such as testosterone, create strength, while higher level anabolic steroids, tend to refine and harden the body with fewer side effects, but much higher liver toxicity. How your body responds to individual AAS is really about your chemistry - not the chemistry of the drug. Androgenic drugs: Halotestin, Methyltestosterone, Trenbolone. Anabolic drugs: Dianabol, Anavar, Primobolan.
