The number of people in the list of bodybuilders using anabolic-androgenic steroids is always on the rise. Everyone has suddenly realised the importance of a lean, healthy and attractive body. When you build muscle, you get a ticket into the world of perfect physique. The appeal of bodybuilding women arises due to the aesthetic appeal it has and the extent the pop culture enthusiasts have treated the topic with magnanimous glamour. With publicity has come the diversity in steroidal bodybuilding. This is what is often referred to as female acts of bodybuilding. This is a break from the traditional domination of the practice by men. Like in most other things, women are expressing their feelings about fitness and with it have come the attention such that they also voice their concerns.

The popularity of female bodybuilding can easily be equated to that of men in terms of popularity. And steroids cannot be ignored at any level of the bodybuilding exercise. This has enabled women to stay healthy and confident of their potential to be fit in a society that does not generally expect much in terms of the fitness of women. When their muscles are toned and fine tuned, the look is fantastic and one feels like doing anything to get this perfect look. Their levels of going through strenuous and sustained exercises , that are motivated by the usage of steroids are always a boost to the body and mind. This means that the benefits are both internal and external in their nature. Internal organs are provided with the badly-needed nourishment.

There are more similarities than differences between male bodybuilding and female bodybuilding. To begin with the physiology of both men and women is similar as far as the muscles are concerned. They both have equal muscles which contract and relax in the same way. Mean are mostly using anabolic steroids while women, mostly, are using catabolic steroids.

The different hormones make slight differences, though. Oestrogen encourages storage of fat in women while testosterone in men is geared towards building of muscle. This does not mean that women are generally more bulky than men. Some women have a cultivated or intrinsic fear of bodybuilding, whether there is the use of androgenic-anabolic steroids or not. They are worried about what will happen to their bodies if they stop the workouts halfway through the way. The misconception is that if they stop, chances that a reverse reaction will occur: conversion of muscles into fat. The truth is that the material that makes muscles is completely different from the one that builds fat.

Therefore it is an outright impossibility for muscle to be converted into fat. Fat is the result of un-burnt calories and not under-use or dormancy of muscles. If your rate of calories intake is higher than the rate at which it is burnt out, accumulation of fat is the direct outcome. This means that a lot of calories content Is ingested but a small proportion of it gets used out.

This is true for all bodybuilders regardless of their gender, age or level of progress.
For women, bodybuilding can be a good pastime activity or a sport. All they need is hard work and the right steroids. This factor must not be overlooked. A lot of time must go into the whole activity.
